We believe wholly the scripture in Psalms 127:3 that reads: 'Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.'. We have been blessed with nine precious children- three virtuous daughters, and six noble sons that we are bringing up in the nuture and admonition of the Lord. C.H. Spurgeon once said 'Homemaking is the grandest of all institutions.' It is certainly the birth place of civilization. Homemaking, marriage, motherhood,homeschooling and the like are not things that have come easy to me. At times, I think that I have made more mistakes than not. Proverbs 31:10 says "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.' Like many of you, I want to be that woman that is treasured 'far above rubies'. This site is a reflection of my journey - prayerfully taking one day at a time and learning along the way. Whether you are a girl still learning and serving in your Father's home, a new homemaker, expecting your first baby, managing a home full of children, or somewhere in between- our goal is that this would be a place to find ideas, money saving strategies, information, and fellowship.
